Number Nine Sign

Number Nine is SCAD’s newest facility dedicated to all things fashion. Located at 9 West Henry Street in Savannah, the address inspired the name. Number Nine has a sleek, posh architecture and interior design spaces inside, so the outside needed to reflect that feeling. The thicks and thins of each letter remind me of a stiletto shoe, like a sans serif Didot. Number Nine’s sign is steel cut and painted individual letters with standoffs drilled right into the brick, free of any clutter.
