Paige Firnberg Design is a creative studio in Savannah, GA for female-owned small business owners looking for unique creations rooted in storytelling and strategy. Our design studio provides memorable branding development, website designs, and other custom projects to business owners who are passionate and driven to convey a professional aesthetic through a timeless/functional visual presence. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Junior Graphic Designer, you will report to our Owner/Creative Director — who will also be your design partner in crime. You will be responsible for seeing through ideation and development of our client’s branding, websites, and custom projects—ensuring that all deadlines are hit and timelines are followed. You will also be responsible for the creation of internal design jobs like social media posts, website maintenance, templated documents, and any other additional work.
In this role, you will be an independent contractor (1099) for Paige Firnberg Design. Our projects last anywhere from 2-6 months, with a varying workload per project. This position has flexible hours with a commitment to around 10-20 hours per week at around $25/hour.
Location: We would love for this person to be located in the Savannah area but we are open to having this be a remote position if it is a great fit.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Independent, self-motivated, and driven to execute memorable solutions in a timely manner.
A problem solver at heart, able to contribute suggestions to the workflow, but also open to constructive feedback.
Experience with print production, file setup, and ideal export settings depending on the type of project.
A team player who can take direction well, as well as be a strong independent contributor to a team.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
