Hi friends, today we are chatting about my most affordable branding offer, the Mini Brand.
Small business owners who are just starting out and just need some solid & strategic basics to get going quickly so they don’t have to completely rebrand once they have the time and money to level up.
Strategy – which includes your positioning, marketing, how you are actually setting up your entire plan for your business. This is the exploratory part where we pass you our Branding Questionnaire to really figure out all of those nitty-gritty details and you can get all of your amazing ideas out onto a piece of paper. Once this is returned, we will set up a Branding Intensive, a 90-minute strategy session where we chat about and expand on the Branding Questionnaire. This will give us a more casual setting to discuss your goals, hiccups, and dreams. I’ve found that the helpful nuggets of gold usually happen when you don’t feel pressured to be a perfect writer.
Visuals – you get to sit back and relax while we take all of the strategies and form it into the fun part: the design! This is where the Mini Brand differentiates itself from my other, larger offers. It includes everything you’ll need to start: strategic typography and colors with two typeset logos. What’s a typeset logo? It’s literally just the name of your business typed out. It will be kerned, because letter spacing is key, and come in two forms: square and long. You’ll need both depending on where you are putting your logo. This does not include additional designs like badges, sub-logos, monograms, illustrations, or icons. If you have some specific design needs in mind, like social media or business cards, we can absolutely add that in for you to get you rolling.
Guidelines – ok so you’ve got your sparkly new brand…now what? This PDF will guide you on the dos and don’ts of how to use your branding system, specific color codes, as well as your font system, and where to get them. It also has a file breakdown, which leads me to the final and most needed step:
Files – with any brand package I’ll break down your files into a few different formats. The first two folders will be the long and square logos. Within those, we’ll include two different versions – files to be used for print purposes and files to be used for digital purposes. Within those folders, we’ll include all of the different colors in all of the different file types (to be specific: ai, eps, jpg, pdf, png, and svg). This ensures that you have any and all logos to be used anywhere from an embroidered cap to your website. Don’t worry, that file type breakdown is always included in your guidelines so you can reference that when deciding which file to send where.
Mini brands usually take anywhere from 4-6 weeks – which is the main appeal along with the lower price point!
